The new MC 2.0 is available in two versions. As a wired model in the WR version or a wireless model in the WL version. The wireless model has a digital two-channel receiver. The MC 2.0 WL can therefore simultaneously receive and display either speed + heart rate or speed + cadence.

The new MC 2.0 offers:

Altitude functions

Altitude correction during transportation

The MC 2.0 has a transport function, which corrects the current altitude automatically, when the MC 2.0 is for instance transported in the car (for this the MC 2.0 must be in the handlebar bracket).

Select home altitude

Via the short-cut button

Höhe

the home altitude can be selected or the current altitude adjusted directly.

  • Two selectable home altitudes
  • Current altitude can be set in meters or sea level pressure

The new MC 2.0 makes altitude measurements both UPHILL and DOWNHILL.

All altitude functions are on the button “ALTI”. The functions are accessed by pressing the button sequentially.

All altitude functions

Höhe

  • Uphill altitude difference, for current trip
    In the submenu:
    – Uphill altitude difference total bike 1 / bike 2
    – Uphill altitude difference total (bike 1 + bike 2)
  • Maximum altitude of a trip
    In the submenu:
    – Maximum altitude of all trips with bike 1 / bike 2
  • Average ascending gradient of a trip, in percentage
  • Maximum ascending gradient, in percentage
  • Downhill altitude difference, for current trip
    In the submenu:
    – Downhill altitude difference total for bike 1 / bike 2
    – Downhill altitude difference total (bike 1 + bike 2)
  • Average descending gradient of a trip, in percentage
  • Maximum descending gradient of a trip, in percentage

In addition, permanently shown in the display:

  • Current altitude
  • Current gradient uphill / downhill
  • Current temperature

Two configurable start altitudes

The MC 2.0 can use two different start altitudes. For example, one start altitude can be the home start altitude. The second start altitude could be the start altitude on holiday. If these start altitudes have been set, recalibration before starting the next trip is quick and easy.

More on 'recalibration'.

Heart rate functions

Training zones

3 training zones can be selected in the MC 2.0 WL:

  • The FIT and FAT zones are automatically calculated from the set personal data and from the personal maximum HR.
  • The values for the OWN zone are similarly calculated, but can be adjusted individually.

Direct selection

The training zone can be selected directly via a short-cut button:

Press and hold the HR/CAD button

Short-Cut

With MC 2.0 WL, either heart rate data or cadence data can also be displayed. In a selection menu it is defined whether heart rate, cadence or no other information should be displayed.

All heart rate functions are located on the button HR / CAD. The heart rate / cadence functions can be accessed sequentially by pressing a button.

Heart rate functions

  • Average / maximum heart rate on the current trip
  • Calories burnt on current trip
  • Time when the heart rate
    • was below the set lower limit
    • was in the set training zone
    • was above the set upper limit

A beeper emits a signal when the current heart rate exceeds the set upper limit or is below the set lower limit. The beeper can be turned off.

Indicators

indikatoren

For heart rate measurement, the indicators show wether the heart rate is:

  • below the lower limit
  • above the upper limit
  • in the selected training zone

Cadence

Indicators

When measuring the cadence, indicators again show whether the cadence

  • was below the set lower limit
  • in the set training zone
  • was above the set upper limit
indikatoren

With MC 2.0 WL, either heart rate data or cadence data can also be displayed. In a selection menu it is defined whether heart rate, cadence or no other information should be displayed.

All cadence functions are located on the button HR / CAD. The heart rate / cadence functions can be accessed sequentially by pressing a button.

Cadence functions

  • Average / maximum cadence on the current trip
  • Time when the cadence
    • was below the set lower limit
    • was in the set training zone
    • was above the set upper limit

In addition, the cadence will be permanently shown on the display.

Temperature

Celsius <> Fahrenheit

The temperature unit can be changed in the setting menu (press and hold the M button) under 'DIMENSION Setting' (change by pressing ALTI or HR/CAD).

Here, you can sequentially enter the units for:

  • speed
  • altitude
  • temperature and
  • weight

and gradually confirm your selections by pressing the M button.

Temperatur

The current temperature is permanently shown at the top left of the display. The settings can be used to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Visible at all times

Temperatur

In addition to the speed, current altitude, ascent/descent plus the temperature is always shown on the display.
